  1. Total (141)

2022 vs New Normal™ for teen-aged boys aged 15-19 in Kentucky

    1. 141 of 141 total deaths were from All Causes
    2. 99.99% of all deaths were from All Causes
    3. This is up 2% compared to Old Normal rates.
    4. 137 of 137 total deaths would have been expected under Old Normal conditions.
    5. 4 excess deaths from All Causes in 2022.
    6. 14 fewer than expected deaths from All Causes (2015-2022)
    1. To show this year’s deaths from All Causes are up 2% compared to Old Normal rates, we need to calculate the rates for both 2022 and for the Old Normal.

Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:

    • “How many teen-aged boys aged 15-19 were there?” and
    • “How many of them died from All Causes?”

The following 2 charts provide this information:

    Deaths – All Causes – Male – Aged 15-19 | Kentucky, United-states

    Graph showing Deaths - All Causes - Male - Aged 15-19 | Kentucky, United-states

    Population – Male – Aged 15-19 – [2000-2022] | Kentucky, United-states

    Graph showing Population - Male - Aged 15-19 - [2000-2022] | Kentucky, United-states

From the charts, we can see that in 2022, 141 of 147,514 teen-aged boys aged 15-19 living in Kentucky died from All Causes.

    141 ÷ 147,514 = 0.00096 (2022 CDR)

    Population
    Deaths
    All Causes

    Totals:
    2,229,976
    2,064
    2,064

The table shows there were a total of 2,064 deaths from All Causes among 2,229,976 teen-aged boys aged 15-19 living in Kentucky in the 15 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.

    2,064 ÷ 2,229,976 = 0.00093 (Old Normal CDR)

We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:

2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths

    147,514 X 0.00093 = 137 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

    141137 = 4

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

    141 ÷ 137 = 1.0217

This reveals 4 lives lost and is 102.17% of what we expected (an increase of 2%) in deaths from All Causes among teen-aged boys aged 15-19 living in Kentucky in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.

This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):

    937 ÷ 1,031,960 = 0.00091 (5-yr CDR)

    147,514(2022 pop) X 0.00091 = 134 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    141134 = 7 or 7 lives lost

Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:

    141 ÷ 134 = 1.0412 or an increase of 4%

for deaths from All Causes among teen-aged boys aged 15-19 living in Kentucky in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.

Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?

Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:

New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths

    1,179,474 X 0.00093 = 1,092 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    10781,092 = -14 or 14 lives saved

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:

    1,078 ÷ 1,092 = 0.9769 or a decrease of 2%

in deaths from All Causes among teen-aged boys aged 15-19 living in Kentucky in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.

The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly

The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.
