2022 vs New Normal™ for men aged 50-54 in Hawaii

    1. 274 of 274 total deaths were from All Causes
    2. 100.00% of all deaths were from All Causes

    6. 152 excess deaths from All Causes (2015-2022)
    1. To show this year’s deaths from All Causes are up 15% compared to Old Normal rates, we need to calculate the rates for both 2022 and for the Old Normal.

Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:

    • “How many men aged 50-54 were there?” and
    • “How many of them died from All Causes?”

The following 2 charts provide this information:

    Deaths – All Causes – Male – Aged 50-54 | Hawaii, United-states

    Graph showing Deaths - All Causes - Male - Aged 50-54 | Hawaii, United-states

    Graph showing Population - Male - Aged 50-54 - [2000-2022] | Hawaii, United-states

From the charts, we can see that in 2022, 274 of 43,596 men aged 50-54 living in Hawaii died from All Causes.

    274 ÷ 43,596 = 0.00628 (2022 CDR)

We’ll use the table below to calculate our Old Normal rate for deaths from All Causes

    Population
    Deaths
    All Causes

    Totals:
    695,440
    3,806
    3,806

The table shows there were a total of 3,806 deaths from All Causes among 695,440 men aged 50-54 living in Hawaii in the 15 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.

    3,806 ÷ 695,440 = 0.00547 (Old Normal CDR)

We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:

2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths

    43,596 X 0.00547 = 239 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

    274239 = 35

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

    274 ÷ 239 = 1.1463

This reveals 35 lives lost and is 114.63% of what we expected (an increase of 15%) in deaths from All Causes among men aged 50-54 living in Hawaii in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.

This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):

    1,772 ÷ 302,398 = 0.00586 (5-yr CDR)

    43,596(2022 pop) X 0.00586 = 255 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    274255 = 19 or 19 lives lost

Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:

    274 ÷ 255 = 1.0707 or an increase of 7%

for deaths from All Causes among men aged 50-54 living in Hawaii in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.

Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?

Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:

New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths

    345,994 X 0.00547 = 1,894 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    20461,894 = 152 or 152 lives lost

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:

    2,046 ÷ 1,894 = 1.0785 or an increase of 8%

in deaths from All Causes among men aged 50-54 living in Hawaii in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.

The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly

The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.
