  1. Total (750)

2022 vs New Normal™ for men aged 45-49 in Colorado

    1. 750 of 750 total deaths were from All Causes
    2. 100.00% of all deaths were from All Causes
    3. This is up 13% compared to Old Normal rates.
    4. 661 of 661 total deaths would have been expected under Old Normal conditions.
    5. 89 excess deaths from All Causes in 2022.
    6. 6 excess deaths from All Causes (2015-2022)
    1. To show this year’s deaths from All Causes are up 13% compared to Old Normal rates, we need to calculate the rates for both 2022 and for the Old Normal.

Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:

    • “How many men aged 45-49 were there?” and
    • “How many of them died from All Causes?”

The following 2 charts provide this information:

    Deaths – All Causes – Male – Aged 45-49 | Colorado, United-states

    Graph showing Deaths - All Causes - Male - Aged 45-49 | Colorado, United-states

    Population – Male – Aged 45-49 – [2000-2022] | Colorado, United-states

    Graph showing Population - Male - Aged 45-49 - [2000-2022] | Colorado, United-states

From the charts, we can see that in 2022, 750 of 183,407 men aged 45-49 living in Colorado died from All Causes.

    750 ÷ 183,407 = 0.00409 (2022 CDR)

    Population
    Deaths
    All Causes

    Totals:
    2,701,533
    9,729
    9,729

The table shows there were a total of 9,729 deaths from All Causes among 2,701,533 men aged 45-49 living in Colorado in the 15 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.

    9,729 ÷ 2,701,533 = 0.00360 (Old Normal CDR)

We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:

2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths

    183,407 X 0.00360 = 661 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

    750661 = 89

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

    750 ÷ 661 = 1.1324

This reveals 89 lives lost and is 113.24% of what we expected (an increase of 13%) in deaths from All Causes among men aged 45-49 living in Colorado in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.

    4,566

This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):

    4,566 ÷ 1,290,972 = 0.00354 (5-yr CDR)

    183,407(2022 pop) X 0.00354 = 649 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    750649 = 101 or 101 lives lost

Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:

    750 ÷ 649 = 1.1529 or an increase of 15%

for deaths from All Causes among men aged 45-49 living in Colorado in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.

Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?

Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:

New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths

    1,474,379 X 0.00360 = 5,310 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    53165,310 = 6 or 6 lives lost

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:

    5,316 ÷ 5,310 = 0.9984 or an increase of 0%

in deaths from All Causes among men aged 45-49 living in Colorado in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.

The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly

The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.
