    1. To show this year’s deaths from All Causes are up 11% compared to Old Normal rates, we need to calculate the rates for both 2022 and for the Old Normal.

Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:

    • “How many women of all ages were there?” and
    • “How many of them died from All Causes?”

The following 2 charts provide this information:

Deaths – All Causes – Female – Of All Ages | Delaware, United-states

    Population – Female – Of All Ages – [2000-2022] | Delaware, United-states

    Graph showing Population - Female - Of All Ages - [2000-2022] | Delaware, United-states

From the charts, we can see that in 2022, 5,362 of 453,735 women of all ages living in Delaware died from All Causes.

    5,362 ÷ 453,735 = 0.01182 (2022 CDR)

    Totals:
    5,251,549

    56,001

The table shows there were a total of 56,001 deaths from All Causes among 5,251,549 women of all ages living in Delaware in the 15 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.

    56,001 ÷ 5,251,549 = 0.01066 (Old Normal CDR)

We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:

2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths

    453,735 X 0.01066 = 4,838 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

    5,3624,838 = 524

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

    5,362 ÷ 4,838 = 1.1072

This reveals 524 lives lost and is 110.72% of what we expected (an increase of 11%) in deaths from All Causes among women of all ages living in Delaware in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.

This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):

    32,282 ÷ 2,741,096 = 0.01178 (5-yr CDR)

    453,735(2022 pop) X 0.01178 = 5,344 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    5,3625,344 = 18 or 18 lives lost

Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:

    5,362 ÷ 5,344 = 1.0026 or an increase of 0%

for deaths from All Causes among women of all ages living in Delaware in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.

Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?

Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:

New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths

    3,194,831 X 0.01066 = 34,069 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    3764434,069 = 3,575 or 3,575 lives lost

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:

    37,644 ÷ 34,069 = 1.1039 or an increase of 10%

in deaths from All Causes among women of all ages living in Delaware in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.

The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly

The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.
