From the charts, we can see that in 2022, 723 of 7,283 elderly women aged 85-89 living in New Brunswick died from All Causes.

The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

This reveals 45 lives lost and is 106.67% of what we expected (an increase of 7%) in deaths from All Causes among elderly women aged 85-89 living in New Brunswick in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.
This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):
4,370 ÷ 49,122 = 0.08896 (5-yr CDR)

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.
