Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:

    • “How many individuals of all ages were there?” and
    • “How many of them died from All Causes?”

The following 2 charts provide this information:

From the charts, we can see that in 2022, 17,333 of 1,199,518 individuals of all ages living in Maine died from All Causes.

    17,333 ÷ 1,199,518 = 0.01445 (2022 CDR)

    Totals:
    16,459,247
    190,498
    190,498

The table shows there were a total of 190,498 deaths from All Causes among 16,459,247 individuals of all ages living in Maine in the 15 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.

    190,498 ÷ 16,459,247 = 0.01157 (Old Normal CDR)

We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:

2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths

    1,199,518 X 0.01157 = 13,883 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

    17,33313,883 = 3,450

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

    17,333 ÷ 13,883 = 1.2474

This reveals 3,450 lives lost and is 124.74% of what we expected (an increase of 25%) in deaths from All Causes among individuals of all ages living in Maine in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.

    105,936

This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):

    105,936 ÷ 7,810,327 = 0.01356 (5-yr CDR)

    1,199,518(2022 pop) X 0.01356 = 16,270 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    17,33316,270 = 1,063 or 1,063 lives lost

Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:

    17,333 ÷ 16,270 = 1.0646 or an increase of 6%

for deaths from All Causes among individuals of all ages living in Maine in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.

Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?

Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:

New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths

    9,009,845 X 0.01157 = 104,279 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    123269104,279 = 18,990 or 18,990 lives lost

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:

    123,269 ÷ 104,279 = 1.1811 or an increase of 18%

in deaths from All Causes among individuals of all ages living in Maine in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.

The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly

The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.
