2023 vs New Normal™ for people aged 35-39 in Canada

    1. 3,736 of 3,736 total deaths were from All Causes
    2. 100.00% of all deaths were from All Causes
    3. This is up 46% compared to Old Normal rates.
    4. 2,526 of 2,526 total deaths would have been expected under Old Normal conditions.
    5. 1,210 excess deaths from All Causes in 2023.
    6. 4,424 excess deaths from All Causes (2015-2023)
    1. To show this year’s deaths from All Causes are up 46% compared to Old Normal rates, we need to calculate the rates for both 2023 and for the Old Normal.

Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:

    • “How many people aged 35-39 were there?” and
    • “How many of them died from All Causes?”

The following 2 charts provide this information:

Deaths – All Causes – Both Sexes – Aged 35-39 | Canada, Canada

    Graph showing Population - Both Sexes - Aged 35-39 - [2000-2023] | Canada, Canada

From the charts, we can see that in 2023, 3,736 of 2,808,843 people aged 35-39 living in Canada died from All Causes.

    3,736 ÷ 2,808,843 = 0.00133 (2023 CDR)

We’ll use the table below to calculate our Old Normal rate for deaths from All Causes

    Totals:
    35,881,533
    32,274
    32,274

The table shows there were a total of 32,274 deaths from All Causes among 35,881,533 people aged 35-39 living in Canada in the 15 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.

    32,274 ÷ 35,881,533 = 0.00090 (Old Normal CDR)

We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:

2023 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths

    2,808,843 X 0.00090 = 2,526 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

    3,7362,526 = 1,210

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

    3,736 ÷ 2,526 = 1.4625

This reveals 1,210 lives lost and is 146.25% of what we expected (an increase of 46%) in deaths from All Causes among people aged 35-39 living in Canada in 2023, as compared to the Old Normal.

This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):

    21,515 ÷ 20,346,387 = 0.00106 (5-yr CDR)

    2,808,843(2023 pop) X 0.00106 = 2,970 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    3,7362,970 = 766 or 766 lives lost

Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:

    3,736 ÷ 2,970 = 1.2461 or an increase of 25%

for deaths from All Causes among people aged 35-39 living in Canada in 2023, as compared to the previous 5 years.

Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?

Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:

New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths

    23,155,230 X 0.00090 = 20,827 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    2525120,827 = 4,424 or 4,424 lives lost

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:

    25,251 ÷ 20,827 = 1.1991 or an increase of 20%

in deaths from All Causes among people aged 35-39 living in Canada in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.

The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly

The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.
