Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:

  • “How many elderly men and women aged 90+ were there?” and
  • “How many of them died from Unknown Causes?”

The following 2 charts provide this information:

Deaths – Unknown Causes – Elderly Men And Women – Aged 90+ | New Brunswick, Canada

Graph showing Populalation - Elderly Men And Women - Aged 90+ - [2001-2022] | New Brunswick, Canada

The table shows there were a total of 555 deaths from Unknown Causes among 73,727 elderly men and women aged 90+ living in New Brunswick in the 14 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.

555 ÷ 73,727 = 0.00753 (Old Normal CDR)

We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:

2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths

7,601 X 0.00753 = 57 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

7857 = 21

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

78 ÷ 57 = 1.3614

This reveals 21 lives lost and is 136.14% of what we expected (an increase of 36%) in deaths from Unknown Causes among elderly men and women aged 90+ living in New Brunswick in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.

Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?

This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):

341 ÷ 49,653 = 0.00687 (5-yr CDR)

7,601(2022 pop) X 0.00687 = 52 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

7852 = 26 or 26 lives lost

Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:

78 ÷ 52 = 1.4920 or an increase of 49%

for deaths from Unknown Causes among elderly men and women aged 90+ living in New Brunswick in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.

Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:

New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths

57,254 X 0.00753 = 431 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

419431 = -12 or 12 lives saved

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:

419 ÷ 431 = 0.9709 or a decrease of 3%

in deaths from Unknown Causes among elderly men and women aged 90+ living in New Brunswick in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.

The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly

The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.

Browse through the age-categorized charts below to see the evidence of this. Click on any chart to see the full analysis for each age group.

| All Ages |

523 of the 8,387 deaths among individuals of all ages living in New Brunswick in 2022 were from Unknown Causes (6.24% of all deaths).

This is up 270% compared to Old Normal (2001-2014) rates which, when applied to the this year's both sexes population of 812,061 individuals would have predicted 133 deaths from Unknown Causes.

This means there were 390 more deaths than expected from Unknown Causes among individuals of all ages living in New Brunswick in 2022.

To date, 1,099 individual lives have been lost to Unknown Causes over the first 8 years of New Brunswick's New Normal™.

Browse through the age categories below to learn how these deaths from Unknown Causes in 2022 are distributed among each age group of individuals in New Brunswick.

Click the bar graph above to see how both the 2022 loss of 390 lives and the 8-year loss of 1,099 individual lives from Unknown Causes is arrived at.
