    • “How many elderly men and women aged 80-84 were there?” and
    • “How many of them died from Unknown Causes?”

The following 2 charts provide this information:

    Unknown Causes

    Totals:
    1,433,786
    94,233
    17,760

The table shows there were a total of 17,760 deaths from Unknown Causes among 1,433,786 elderly men and women aged 80-84 living in Maryland in the 15 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.

    17,760 ÷ 1,433,786 = 0.01239 (Old Normal CDR)

We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:

2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths

    120,179 X 0.01239 = 1,489 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

    1,4041,489 = -85

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

    1,404 ÷ 1,489 = 0.9424

This reveals 85 lives saved and is 94.24% of what we expected (a decrease of 6%) in deaths from Unknown Causes among elderly men and women aged 80-84 living in Maryland in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.

This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):

    9,002 ÷ 737,862 = 0.01220 (5-yr CDR)

    120,179(2022 pop) X 0.01220 = 1,466 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    1,4041,466 = -62 or 62 lives saved

Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:

    1,404 ÷ 1,466 = 0.9568 or a decrease of 4%

for deaths from Unknown Causes among elderly men and women aged 80-84 living in Maryland in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.

Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?

Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:

New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths

    858,041 X 0.01239 = 10,628 expected deaths

The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    1040610,628 = -222 or 222 lives saved

Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:

    10,406 ÷ 10,628 = 0.9783 or a decrease of 2%

in deaths from Unknown Causes among elderly men and women aged 80-84 living in Maryland in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.

The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly

The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.

Browse through the age-categorized charts below to see the evidence of this. Click on any chart to see the full analysis for each age group.

Deaths/100,000 elderly men and women 80-84 from Unknown Causes

Graph showing Deaths/100,000 elderly men and women 80-84 from Unknown Causes
    | All Ages |

16,008 of the 56,456 deaths among individuals of all ages living in Maryland in 2022 were from Unknown Causes (28.35% of all deaths).

This is up 9% compared to Old Normal (2000-2014) rates which, when applied to the this year's both sexes population of 6,044,429 individuals would have predicted 14,676 deaths from Unknown Causes.

This means there were 1,332 more deaths than expected from Unknown Causes among individuals of all ages living in Maryland in 2022.

To date, 5,970 individual lives have been lost to Unknown Causes over the first 8 years of Maryland's New Normal™.

Browse through the age categories below to learn how these deaths from Unknown Causes in 2022 are distributed among each age group of individuals in Maryland.
