- There were a total of 3,279,754 deaths in United States in 2022
- 1,719,163 of all deaths were among males
- 168,323 of all deaths were among those aged 55-59
- 103,522 of all deaths were among men aged 55-59
103,522 deaths from All Causes were among men aged 55-59
2022 vs New Normal™ for men aged 55-59 in United States
- 103,522 of 103,522 total deaths were from All Causes
- 100.00% of all deaths were from All Causes
- This is up 8% compared to Old Normal rates.
- 95,837 of 95,837 total deaths would have been expected under Old Normal conditions.
- 7,685 excess deaths from All Causes in 2022.
- 45,510 excess deaths from All Causes (2015-2022)
- To show this year’s deaths from All Causes are up 8% compared to Old Normal rates, we need to calculate the rates for both 2022 and for the Old Normal.
Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:
- “How many men aged 55-59 were there?” and
- “How many of them died from All Causes?”
The following 2 charts provide this information:
Deaths – All Causes – Male – Aged 55-59 | United States, United-states
Population – Male – Aged 55-59 – [2000-2022] | United States, United-states
From the charts, we can see that in 2022, 103,522 of 10,373,923 men aged 55-59 living in United States died from All Causes.
103,522 ÷ 10,373,923 = 0.00998 (2022 CDR)
Deaths/100,000 Male 55-59 from All Causes
The table shows there were a total of 1,212,860 deaths from All Causes among 131,286,862 men aged 55-59 living in United States in the 15 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.
1,212,860 ÷ 131,286,862 = 0.00924 (Old Normal CDR)
We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:
2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths
10,373,923 X 0.00924 = 95,837 expected deaths
The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:
103,522 – 95,837 = 7,685
Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:
103,522 ÷ 95,837 = 1.0790
This reveals 7,685 lives lost and is 107.90% of what we expected (an increase of 8%) in deaths from All Causes among men aged 55-59 living in United States in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.
This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):
725,476 ÷ 74,435,296 = 0.00975 (5-yr CDR)
10,373,923(2022 pop) X 0.00975 = 101,108 expected deaths
The difference between actual and expected deaths:
103,522 – 101,108 = 2,414 or 2,414 lives lost
Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:
103,522 ÷ 101,108 = 1.0228 or an increase of 2%
for deaths from All Causes among men aged 55-59 living in United States in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.
Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?
Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:
New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths
84,809,219 X 0.00924 = 783,488 expected deaths
The difference between actual and expected deaths:
828998 – 783,488 = 45,510 or 45,510 lives lost
Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:
828,998 ÷ 783,488 = 1.0569 or an increase of 6%
in deaths from All Causes among men aged 55-59 living in United States in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.
The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly
The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.
