- There were a total of 313,148 deaths in California in 2022
- 164,413 of all deaths were among women
- 40,867 of all deaths were from Unknown Causes
- 18,980 of female deaths were from Unknown Causes
18,980 deaths from Unknown Causes were among women of all ages
2022 vs New Normal™ for women of all ages in California
- 18,980 of 145,909 total deaths were from Unknown Causes
- 13.01% of all deaths were from Unknown Causes
- This is up 7% compared to Old Normal rates.
- 17,482 of 124,354 total deaths would have been expected under Old Normal conditions.
- 1,498 excess deaths from Unknown Causes in 2022.
- 21,555 excess All Cause deaths in 2022.
- 823 excess deaths from Unknown Causes (2015-2022)
- 76,428 excess All Cause deaths over the first 8 years of California’s New Normal™.
- To show this year’s deaths from Unknown Causes are up 7% compared to Old Normal rates, we need to calculate the rates for both 2022 and for the Old Normal.
Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:
- “How many women of all ages were there?” and
- “How many of them died from Unknown Causes?”
The following 2 charts provide this information:
Deaths – Unknown Causes – Female – Of All Ages | California, United-states
Population – Female – Of All Ages – [2000-2022] | California, United-states
From the charts, we can see that in 2022, 18,980 of 19,022,343 women of all ages living in California died from Unknown Causes.
18,980 ÷ 19,022,343 = 0.00100 (2022 CDR)
The table shows there were a total of 247,113 deaths from Unknown Causes among 268,887,843 women of all ages living in California in the 15 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.
247,113 ÷ 268,887,843 = 0.00092 (Old Normal CDR)
We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:
2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths
19,022,343 X 0.00092 = 17,482 expected deaths
The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:
18,980 – 17,482 = 1,498
Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:
18,980 ÷ 17,482 = 1.0740
This reveals 1,498 lives lost and is 107.40% of what we expected (an increase of 7%) in deaths from Unknown Causes among women of all ages living in California in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.
This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):
123,681 ÷ 135,314,260 = 0.00091 (5-yr CDR)
19,022,343(2022 pop) X 0.00091 = 17,387 expected deaths
The difference between actual and expected deaths:
18,980 – 17,387 = 1,593 or 1,593 lives lost
Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:
18,980 ÷ 17,387 = 1.0798 or an increase of 8%
for deaths from Unknown Causes among women of all ages living in California in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.
Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?
Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:
New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths
154,336,603 X 0.00092 = 141,838 expected deaths
The difference between actual and expected deaths:
142661 – 141,838 = 823 or 823 lives lost
Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:
142,661 ÷ 141,838 = 0.9950 or an increase of 1%
in deaths from Unknown Causes among women of all ages living in California in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.
The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly
The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.
