    1. 49 of 2,300 total deaths were from Unknown Causes
    2. 2.13% of all deaths were from Unknown Causes

    1. To show this year’s deaths from Unknown Causes are up 129% compared to Old Normal rates, we need to calculate the rates for both 2022 and for the Old Normal.

    Remember, death rates are calculated to answer these questions:

    • “How many elderly men aged 90+ were there?” and
    • “How many of them died from Unknown Causes?”

    The following 2 charts provide this information:

    Deaths – Unknown Causes – Male – Aged 90+ | Alberta, Canada

    Graph showing Deaths - Unknown Causes - Male - Aged 90+ | Alberta, Canada

    Populalation – Male – Aged 90+ – [2001-2022] | Alberta, Canada

    Graph showing Populalation - Male - Aged 90+ - [2001-2022] | Alberta, Canada

    From the charts, we can see that in 2022, 49 of 9,351 elderly men aged 90+ living in Alberta died from Unknown Causes.

    49 ÷ 9,351 = 0.00524 (2022 CDR)

    Population
    Deaths
    Unknown Causes

    Totals:
    59,195
    13,746
    135

    The table shows there were a total of 135 deaths from Unknown Causes among 59,195 elderly men aged 90+ living in Alberta in the 14 years immediately prior to the New Normal™.

    135 ÷ 59,195 = 0.00228 (Old Normal CDR)

    We can use the Old Normal rate to predict this year’s deaths:

    2022 pop X Old Normal CDR = expected deaths

    9,351 X 0.00228 = 21 expected deaths

    The difference between actual and expected deaths shows lives saved or lost:

    4921 = 28

    Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths gives us the comparative rates:

    49 ÷ 21 = 2.2876

    This reveals 28 lives lost and is 228.76% of what we expected (an increase of 129%) in deaths from Unknown Causes among elderly men aged 90+ living in Alberta in 2022, as compared to the Old Normal.

    Compare our Old Normal to the 5yr CDR. Does it tell the same story your TV does?

    This is the same method used by Public Health to calculate the 5-yr CDR (Cumulative Death Rate):

    194 ÷ 56,100 = 0.00346 (5-yr CDR)

    9,351(2022 pop) X 0.00346 = 32 expected deaths

    The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    4932 = 17 or 17 lives lost

    Divide actual deaths by expected deaths:

    49 ÷ 32 = 1.5109 or an increase of 51%

    for deaths from Unknown Causes among elderly men aged 90+ living in Alberta in 2022, as compared to the previous 5 years.

    Finally, the same method can also be used to compare our Old Normal rate to the New Normal™ rate:

    New Normal™ population X Old Normal rate = expected deaths

    65,451 X 0.00228 = 149 expected deaths

    The difference between actual and expected deaths:

    243149 = 94 or 94 lives lost

    Dividing the actual deaths by the expected deaths:

    243 ÷ 149 = 1.6208 or an increase of 62%

    in deaths from Unknown Causes among elderly men aged 90+ living in Alberta in the New Normal™, as compared to the Old Normal.

    The world has been led to believe that a deadly pandemic swept the globe beginning in 2020, causing an increase in death rates, especially among the elderly

    The data show that death rates began to increase in 2015, immediately upon implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, that young adults have experienced ever-increasing death rates since, and that death rates among the elderly have remained relatively stable.

    Browse through the age-categorized charts below to see the evidence of this. Click on any chart to see the full analysis for each age group.

    | All Ages |

    1,353 of the 17,700 deaths among men of all ages living in Alberta in 2022 were from Unknown Causes (7.64% of all deaths).

    This is up 657% compared to Old Normal (2001-2014) rates which, when applied to the this year's male population of 2,282,015 men would have predicted 156 deaths from Unknown Causes.

    This means there were 1,197 more deaths than expected from Unknown Causes among men of all ages living in Alberta in 2022.

    To date, 5,939 male lives have been lost to Unknown Causes over the first 8 years of Alberta's New Normal™.
